Akdemir Makine Sanayii Company was founded in 1968 by Bekir AKDEMIR and started off with production of machinery for marble processing.
The company was engaged in production of edge cutting machines in its early years, and, after a short time, started producing machinery for marble splitting and band polishing, as well as 2-beam ST cutting machines. Thanks to the wide range of products, the company has become an innovative leader in the industry within a short period of time.
By the early 1980s, the company turned into a powerful organization that made a significant contribution to rapidly growing Turkish industry.
In the 1990s, the company focused on production of 40-lamella gang saws and 4-beam cutting machines.
The company has taken a leading position in the industry thanks to strong casing of machines and the possibility of their high-precision adjusting. Highly efficient manufacturing is the top priority for Akdemir Makine Sanayii Company.
Since 2019, the company has been operating in a new facility with the total area of 16,000 m2 and covered area of 5,500,000 m2. The R&D center of the company continues its work in the new facility. The company goal is conveying knowledge and experience accumulated by its long-time experienced employees and partners to its customers.
